About Liana Yarckin
Liana’s career in architecture and interior design has provided her with extensive experience in color, composition and design, which she now applies to her artwork. Due to her husband’s encouragement, Liana discovered her love for watercolors and has been painting for the last 15 years.
Her passion for the beach, architecture and life is evident in her choices of subject matter. Liana’s watercolors are consistently bright and cheerful with clean color. She continues to grow as an artist by painting daily, taking a variety of workshops and classes, participating in local art groups and studying her favorite artists.
Liana shows and sells her artwork in galleries and online. She accepts commissions for children’s portraits and home portraits. These commissions can be seen collectively on her Facebook page, Liana Yarckin Watercolors or her website, www.lianayarckin.com. Additionally, over 50 of her paintings have been printed on greeting cards, which are sold successfully nationwide by Cardsdirect.
Liana is currently a member of Southwestern Watercolor Society, Artists of Texas, Highland Park Arts Board and the Texas Women’s Caucus for Art.
